ELDERLY MAN’S DEATH
INQUEST FORMALLY OPENED. An inquest on the body of John M'Connoll, who fell from a tramcar at the intersection of Frederick and George streets, was formally opened yesterday before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., and was adjourned until 11 a.m. on March 7. After the accident occurred the man was removed by the police to _ the Hospital, where ho succumbed to his injuries on March 3. The deceased was about 78 years of age, and has no relatives in New Zealand.
