DUNEDIN HOSPITAL GUILD
Mr D. Todd presided over the annual meeting of the Dunedin Hospital Guild yesterday, and there was a large attendance of members.
The annual report and balance sheet,' which have been already published,, were read and adopted. Mr Todd in referring to the report, said that the number of garments which had been made ,by the guild was very creditable. -He also said it would be desirable to see a large number of young girls in the guild. They had done good work during the war, and he was sure they could do equally good work in this connection. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows;—President, Mrs R. W. Glendinning; vice-presidents,'Mesdames Barnett and Spedding; hon. secretary, Mrs ,I>. Todd; hon. treasurer, Miss N. Callender; committee —Mesdames H. Reid. S. Holmes, Ramsay, Romison, Vanes, Greenslade, Carr’ and Loudon. Mr F. G. Gumming, representing the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society, conveyea his society’s appreciation of the work done by the Dunedin Hospital Guild in co-operation with his society.
