The quarterly evangelistic meeting of the North-East Valiev brunch of the Women’s < liristian Teiiqierunco Union was hold in the institute on Thursday afternoon. In, the absence of the president (Airs Peart), who is representing the union at the convention which is being held at Hamilton, Miss Lowe (vice-president) presided. Notwithstanding holiday attraction#, there was a fair attendance cf members. The meeting was opened with praise, and Miss Lowe took the Scripture reading from Exodus xxxiii. She gave a short address, taking as her text verse 14. afterwards engaging in prayer, and the remainder of the time was spent, in discussing business, much of it of great importance in connection with campaign work. A very profitable meeting was then closed with prayer and the benediction.
