INCOME OF £45,000 A YEAR. VANCOUVER, March 7. “Babe” Ruth, who, it was reported yesterday, had entered into a five-year baseball contract at the salary of a railway president, with a bonus of £IOO for each home run, is tho highest-paid athlete in the world. His salary exceeds £15,000 a year.
