HELD UP AT LYTTELTON.

(Pes United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 24 On, the arrival of the Moana at Wellington ,_to-day the stewards expressed their intention of standing by the chief cook, who was given 24 hours' notice at Xyttelton last night on account of the firemen objecting to sail if J» was allowed to remain on board; consequently the Moana is held up pending a tettlement. The vessel is meantime timed to sail for Sydney and Hobart at noon to-morrow.
