GISBORNE, June 28. At the Supreme Court criminal sessions, 'before Mr Justice Sim, Walter Plain, on two charges of obscene exposure, was sentenced to 12 months on each charge, sentences to be cumulative. Fred Jones, for obtaining monsy by means of false pretences, received 12 months' imprisonment, and was. declared an habitual criminal. Ruku Haenga. found guilty of theft, was sentenced to three years' rofoivnativG treatmeiU.' Joe Tupara, for the theft of a heifer, was released on probation for three years, and his Honor ordered a prohibition order to bo issued against him.
