Iho production and acting were both unusually good, and patrons werb 'kept on tho qui vive of excitement and enthusiasm during the entire period of th 0 performance. Ilnssouna, a young and verv henntiful Arabian girl, lives in the tented city of her tribe in tils desert. An officer in the Frcncli Xavv is captured in a religious frenzy, arid is to be killed ni dawn. Hassouna effects his escape. Tho tribe is enraged at her act and condemns her to death She is. however, rescued by another tribe •who take her to the citv of Tangiers and sell her as a dancing girl to a travelling circus. , After many hardships and much ill-usage she is finally rescued and taken to the homo of the man. she had aided in tho desert. It is a picture which arrest' the attention and expands tho imagination—transporting tho beholder to file heart of things Oriental and mysterious. Tho supports are a Pathe Gazette and invenilo characterisations by Little Ray Man foil, entitled tho Orphan Violet Seller. The same programme will bo repeated this evening, with the add-'tion of "Miss Carrie Lanceley and her Melody Maids, who commence a fresh season at the Octagon this evening.
