SCHOOLS' COMPETITION. Tho rules adopted by tho Schools' Rugby [Football Committee to govern the matches during the season provide that the results of matches (on score cards), signed by the referee and the captain of the winning team, must be sent to the secretary (Mr V. H. Bremuer, Arthur Street School) not later than tho Tuesday following the match, but results may be received up to the following Saturday on payment of Is. Any match not thus reported will bo' counted a loss to both teams. Any boy found playing with ;oe-plates on his boots will be ordered off tho field. All players must bo bona fide scholars of the school they play for. Any boy having left school will be allowed to represent tho school until Ehe end of tho season, provided ho has attended school for fivo weeks after the opening Saturday. Tho committee shall have power to disqualify any boys considered too big for tho schools' competition; no player on May 1 to be ovei Sst 71b in football costume, without boots.
