(Received April 18, at 9.30 p.m.) At the recent conference of German bankers the Ministers of Finance declared that Germany vyould impose an indemnity of at least 50 billiards of marks. MEAT PACKERS' SETTLEMENT. LONDON, April 18. (Received April 18, at 9.30 p.m.) The Foreign Office, in announcing the conclusion of the negotiations in connection with the American packing houses settlement, states that provision is made that in consideration of the sum paid to the meat packers the Government shall regulate the entire shipment from all packing houses to European neutral countries during the war. The Government considers this provision important.
