PRISONER OF WAR.

Private Norman Steele, reported "missing-. probably killed, August 7," has written to his mother at Napier that ho is a prisoner of .war at Constantinople. The letter was dated August 8. Cheltenham Parish Church was crowded yesterdav afternoon (says the Daily Mail of November 26) by nurses and wounded soldiers at the wedding of a wounded Nov/ Zealander to a Red Gross nurse: The bridegroom, _ Private Arthur Albert King, 12th Nelson 'Regiment, met his bride, Mies Minnie Louisa Davis, while at the Naunton Park Hospital. The best mail was a Now Zealand comrade. Mr H. C. Mac Gibbon, son of Mr Colin Macgibbon (Dannevirlce, and formerly manager of the Bank of New South Wales at Gore], has enlisted with the Ninth Reinforcements.
