There was better competition for faulty merinos. The following prices were realised for fleece portions of the New Zealand clips named:—Wmeco, top 19d'; average 17d; Taratahi, top 23d, average 15|d. SYDNEY SERIES. SYDNEY, November 18. (Received Nov. 19, at 0.25 a.m.) The week's wool sales closed active at late high levels. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Ltd.) has received the following cablegram from its London office, under date 13th, inst., which has just come to hand:—"Wool market animated. Greaey medium combing merino, scoured crossteeo, 10 per cent, to 15 per cent.; greasy crossbred, 15 per cent, to 20 per cent, higher fhan <?lose previous series."
