FIRE ON THE RIOUW.
THE OUTBREAK EXTINGUISHED. Pr«M Ajwociitios—By Talegraplt—Copyright, SYDNEY, November 18. The local Marine Underwriters' Association has received a cablegram stating that fire broke out on the steamer Riouw on November 6. It was extinguished after the vessel had discharged portion of the coal and cargo. ' . > The Riouw is bringing 1600 tons of cargo from New York. She is a vessel of 7526 tons, built last year for an Amsterdam firm at A. M'Millan and Company's iyard* .Dumbarton. She is under charter to •' the A. and A. Line, and was to have come by way of the Panama Canal, but had to take the Cape route owing to the slip which occurred some weeks ago in the Culebra Cut., V
