(Received Nov. 18, at 9.30 >p.m.) When the House of Commons went.into committee on the Finance Bill Mr M'Kenna moved a new clause to meet the case of goods manufactured in. "Britain, sold to a non-resident, and then resold to a retailer here. The case the Government did not wish to touch was that of the Australian merchant who sold wool to an English or French merchant in London.
