GORE HORSE SALE.

The National Mortgage and Agency Company report as follows:—

We held oar monthly horse sale :'n Ward's Bazaar at Gore on Wednesday, in the presence of a very large attendance of farmers, contractors, and dealers. Our entry forward consisted of 72 horses, of which we sold 58. Mr Alex, Robertson's contracting horses were a splendid lot, and were much admired. For these bidding was very spirited, and every lot found a new owner at the following prices: —Bay mare, 6yrs, £42; bay gelding, 6yre, £38 10s; hay goldioj, Byrs, £36; bay mare, Byrs, £36; bay mare, 7yrs, £35 10s; bay mare, 7yre, £31; bay filly, 4yrs, £31; bay mare, Byrs, £29. For others wo sold a six-year-old gelding at £44 10s, a seven-year-old mare at £40, a three-year-old gelding at £30, a five-year-old mare at £27, two very fine geldings at £40 10s and £37, a very good six-year-old maro at £40, a six-year-old mare at £39; one black gelding, 4yre, £36 10s; 1 bay maro, £35; one bay gelding, 6yrs, £35;' one bay gelding, 7yrs, £35; 1 bay gelding, 6vrs, £34; one eeven-year-old bay' gelding, £'33; ons bay gelding, 6yrs, £33; one bay gelding, 7yrs, £30; one bay gelding 6yrs, £29; one .chestnut gelding, *3yrs, £31; one bay filly, syre, £26; one chcstnut gelding, 6yrs, £25; one bay mare; 4yrs, £25 10s; one bay gelding, £25; one bay gelding, £22 10s; hacks sold at from £18 down to £3.
