MOSGIEL WOOLLEN FACTORY COMPANY.
In submitting the annual report and balance sheet, the directors congratulate shareholders on the result of the year's work. The mill has been distantly employed, and the amount of wool , put through the machines lias been greater than in liny previous year. The new building in course of construction at the date of the last annual report has now been completed, and adds greatly to the efficient and economical working of the mill. The profit and ■ less account, after writing off £3000 as _ depreciation, and making spccial provision for £1500 for machinery now on order, shows an available balance of £8216 5s 6d. Tho directors recommend that a dividend'of 7 per cent, per annum be paid, Amounting to £5842 Os 6d, leaving £2374 5s to be carried forward to new profit and loss account. The .retiring directors aro Hon. J. R. Sinclair and Mr J. S. Hiislop, who nre eligible, and offer themselves for re-election. Tho auditors, Messrs Peter Barr arid David Crawford, also offer themselves for re-election.
