Rockefeller, in giving testimony at the New York trust inquiry, stated that the original capital of the .Standard Oil Trad was £11,200,000. Tho trust had paid £118.000,000 dividends, and still held a surplus of £60,000,000, The profits for 1907 were £16,000,000. '.
