SIR DRURY-LOWE. , » LONDON, April 7. The diath of General Sir Drury-Lowe is announced.
[Sir Drqry Curzon Drury-Lowe, G.C.8., entered the army as'a cornet in the 17th Lancers in 1E54. Ho served in the Crimea a-iid the Indian Mutiny, and commanded a regiment in tlio Zulu campaign in 1879. Ho also served iii the cavalry in South Africa in 1881-82 and in tlio Egyptian campaign in 1882.1 < • SIR HOWARD VINCENT,
April 8, (Received April 9, at 0.45 a.m.) The death of Sir- Howard Vincent is announced. The deceased was 59 years of age.
[Sir Howard Vincent, K.C.M. G., was an A.DXJ. to tho King, He was director of criminal investigations in the Metropolitan Police Force from 1878 till 1884, and founded the United Empire Trade League in 1891, holding the position of secretary of that body till tno time of his death. He was a prominent Conservative, and took a very teen 'interest in military matters.]
