■ (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCII. December 15. The Right Hon. the Prime Minister (Sir J. G. Ward) spent a busv morning receiving deputations. In tlio afternoon lie was present for a period at the Christchurch Racing Club's meeting, and later attended the cricket match. Sir Joseph left for Wellington by the late 6teamer this evening. 'The Hon. R. M'Nab and the Hon. J. A. Millar, who arrived from the south by the late express, also left for Wellington by tho same boat.
