Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 2. The death of Count Nigra, the wellknown Italian diplomat, is announced; aged 80 years.

Count Nigra lias published several works on the dialects and popular yoetry of Italy. In 1885 ho resigned the embassy in London, and was succeeded by Count. Corti. He was afterwards sent as Italian Ambassador to Vienna. He was a. Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour. !
