. WELLINGTON, May 3. ilie Now Zealand Rugby Union meeting lasted tin 1.30 this morning. A motion that a match committee of tho Union be elected by the delegates was lost.
Tho location of the Appeal Committee was fixed at Christehurch.
_ The sum of £2CO was set aside for fostering football in primary schools, tho amount to bo distributed to the various unions to expend in any way thoy think fit, but they must render accounts to the New Zealand Union.
Messrs G. Campixsll, G. Facho, and A. Campbell wero created tho new Appeal Council.
It was that, in all matches under the jurisdiction of the Monngemont Committee spociol provision bo made for representatives of the press. The sum of £25 was voted to the New Zealand Referees' Association.
Mr A. Baylv (Wanganui) was elected president, Mv H. Galbraitli treasurer, nnd the Management Committee are Messrs Dixon, Isaacs, Hyams, Wylie, Walthurton, Laugbton, and Laurenson. The appointment of secretary was left to the Management Committee, to whom also was referred the appointment of a representative in San Francisco.
