BOOKMAKERS PROSECUTED.

(Per Usittd Press Association.) (jIIKISTCHUKCII, April 30. At the Magitratc's Court to-day four bookmakers were fined in sums of £10 and £5 each for trespassing on the Riceanon racecourse at tho autumn meeting of the Canterbury Jockey Club. J. Coburn was fined £10 on one charge and £5 on another. One man was discharged, but warned that if again before the court and found guilty lie would lie sent to gaol for the maximum terrti.
