INTER-STATE CRICKET. SYDNEY, December .15. In the inter-State cricket match between New South Wales Second Eleven and Queensland, tho latter made 192 in thoir first innings (Crouch 36, Carew 43). New South Wales have lost threo wickets for 66 runs.

ADELAIDE, December 15. South Australia .playing New South Wales lost nine wickets for 325 runs. Clem Hill scored 146, Pollew 72, and Gchrs 35.

OTAGO CRICKET ASSOCIATION. _ A committee meeting of the above association was hold in the secretary's office last evening, when there were present:—Messrs A. C. Hanlon. W. H. Sketch, C. R, Smith, A. M'ljpan, T. IT. Campbell, J. J. Clark, A. Restieaux, and B. S. Wilson. Apologies were received from Messrs J. Melville and J. L. Jamieson. A letter was received from the North Otago Association, stating that the North Otago team would- arrive in Dunedin at 1 o'clock on Christmas Day, and would start tho match at 2.30 p.m. It was decided that the Otago team. should slay at the Royal Hotel while in Ohristcluirch. An application from the High School Club for permission to postpone its match with tho St. Martin's Club was referred to the Grade Committee.—The Umpires' Association was granted £5 5s for expenses. Umpires were appointed to officiate in matches as follows:—North Otago match, Messrs Taylor and Jollyj Auckland match, Messrs Hope and Austin. It was decided to play both the Otago v. Canterbury Wednesday Association representative match and the Otago v. North Otago match on the Carisbrook Ground on tho 25th and 26th, play to start at 2.15 p.m. on Christmas Day. Tvlr A. M'Lean moved: "That the' Selection Committee be asked to select the Otago team on Saturday evening."—Carried. Mr F, H. Campbell moved: "That the association take into consideration the advisability of making arrangements to play all First CJrade matches on turf." Seconded by Mr W. H. Skitch.-Carricd. Mr F. 11. Campboll moved: "That a special general meeting be called for Wednesday at 8 p.in."Carried. An appeal was received from the Albion Club against the decision of tho Grade Committee in refusing to consider a letter from that club requesting that the match Carisbi'ook B v. Albion be played over again on account of the B team playing a player who was not a bona fide member, on the ground that no deposit had been forwarded with the letter.—lt was moved that the Appeal Committee meet at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

The selector (Mr F, ,T, Ohlson) has chosen the following players to represent Auckland during the southern tour:—T. Elliott, J. Hussoy, C. Ilennis, A. ITaddou, D. Hoy, S. P. Jones, 11. B. Lusk, F. M'Noilf, O. Oliff, C. Schnioll, W. B. Smith, and \V. Stemson. Ilussey will probably be unable to play owing to a bereavement, and his plnco may be taken by Sale. Francis, or Mason. The tour begins at Dunedin, tho team arriving here on the 29th instant.
