At a conference of unionists last evening resolutions were passed appointing a committee'to inquire into and report on boycotted unionists by employers, and recommending that stipendiary magistrates be given power to adjudicate in eases of breaches of award; also that the Conciliation and Industrial Arbitration Act be amended to provide that in case of the dismissal of employees the onus of proving that they were not dismissed because they were unionists be placed on tlio employer.
