Matheson, Pram, and Co. report:—We held our regular auction sale of the above yesterday afternoon, and under extra good bidding we. cleared a catalogue of 35 lots at prices showing an advance on recent rates. Ox hides, 3Scl to 4Jd; cow hides, 3}d to 3Jd; cut hides, 3gcl to 8 G-Sd; calfskins, Is 2d to 2a 7d; horse hides, 2s 9d to 7s 3d; tallow, 12r 9d to 13s 9rt ; fat, 10s Gd to 11s (wrime tallow is worth up to 17s 6d and fat up to 12s 6d).
