CRUSH AT CITY HALLS. TO THE EDITOR.

Sip.,—The condensed* report of my remarks at last council meeting re crush at entrance to halls is rather misleading, and unfair to the Agricultural Hall Company. Amongst other tilings, I mentioned that I witnessed a scandalous crush- at the recent capping ceremony, and said it was caused by those who had engaged the hall not having more doors open and sufficient attendance. I know well the capabilities and conveniences of the halt as regards egress and ingress, having had so much to do with several mass meetings held there, and merely wanted to point out that some one should be responsible for the proper number of doorkeeper?. —I am, etc., .Tas. A. Park.
