Sir,—Referring to the last meeting of the council, I have not refused or neglected to pull' clown the buildings in question.
After v[ had.given notice to the tenants they approached the mayor or the council, and obtained further time. One of them informed me to-day ho has just got but, so I- will pull clown that building at once. In the other case—that of Mr T. Fitzpatrick, the cabman, —he tells me he has a letter from your council permitting him to u«e the otab'o, being the 'building condemned, until the 20th inst., when, if he does not pull it down, I will.—l am, etc.,
