WELLINGTON, August 9.
Messrs E. H. Carew, S.M., A. M'Kerrow, and' H. Thompson have been appointed a commission to inquire into the claims likely to arise, and furnish estimates of the value of property affected, by closing Stuart street, Dunedin, and erecting a; new railway station thereon, and by closing Hanover stieet. at the railway crossing, and erecting a station building in the line-of St. Andrew street; to report by August 31 or an ex-' tended date. : . .
