The following are 9 a.m. weather reports from Australian stations:—Albany, June 19: Wind, N.W.; bar., 29.58; cloudy, but fine. Hobart, June 19:-Wind, S.E. • bar,, 30.40; cloudy, but fine. Sydney, June 20: Wind, W. j bar., 30.50; fine.
The following are the weather reporls from New Zealand stations at 5 p.m. : — Manukau Heads: Wind, E:, fresh; bar., 30.58; ther., 62; cloudy; sea smooth. New Plymouth: Calm; bar., 30.41; ther, 62; cloudy;- slight ■ swell. Castlepoirit: Wind, S.W., light; bar., 30.36; ■ther., 57; fine; sea moderate. Wellington: Calm • bar., 30.35; ther., 50; fine. Westport:' Calm; bar., 30.37; ther., .54; fine; sea smooth. Kaikoura.- Calm; bar.. 30.33; ther., 47; fine; sea smooth., Oamaru' Wind, S.W., light; bar., 30.32; ther., 50 ; £ fine; smooth sea. Bluff: Wind, S W fresh breeze; bar., 3C.33; ther..'so-' showery. . ' ' The pressure is very low westward of Tasmania, and will cause heavy westerly gales on the south coast of Australia westward of the meridian of Adelaide. The pressure in Tasmania will have already decreased, and also on the east coast of Australia, where there will be • northerly gales southward of latitude 26.— R. A. Edwin
