Pearl barley, £12. Bran, £2 10s. Pollard, £3 10s Nelson hovis are quoted at 7d to lid (f.0.b.). Chaff: Scarce. Prime, £2 15s; medium, £2 5s to _2 12s 6d. Ryegrass: Few sales are being made here farmers being inclined to hold in the meantime, to:see if prices will improve. Buyers ideas of values are from ls 3d to ls 7d for ordinary farmers' dressed seed, and up to 2s for exceptionally good' samples. We quote: Farmers' dressed, ls'3d to ls fld; machined, 2s Gd to 3s. Cocksfoot, 2J.d to 3UI for farmers' lots and did to 5d for machined. Linseed (wanted), £12. Pressed straw, 255. Clover hay, £3 to £3 1:0s. Nitrate of soda, £15. Clovers, rape, etc..-all fresh. We can offer all classes of set-ds pure and. fresh Potatoes,—xVrrivals have been brisk and prices are easier, and the demand is good for prime lots. Tallow: Rough fat, 9s tolls; rendered, 10s Gd to 15s, according to quality. Horsehair, ls 2d. Sheepskins.—All descriptions of fine-wool skins have brisk competition ; coarse sorts have less attention. We sell by auction every Tues'Rabbitskins.—We offered a good catalogue at our sale on Monday. Owing to a new buyer being in the market competition was particularly keen, and prices showed an advance of 3d to 4d per lb, and in sonic cases more, over last week's quotations.
