The advance in the market is attributed to the shortage in the Russian crop and to the droughts in India and the Argentine Eepublie. The advance in wheat has c-jased, There is a pauss in the excitement in Europe, and a small decline in England on red American wheat for future delivery. The quantity of wheat aad flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,280,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,480,000 quarters. ! Shares: National Bank of New Zealand, LI 153; Bank of New Zealand 4 per cent, j guaranteed stock, 105; New Zsaland Loan and Meicanfcile (prior lien) 4 per cent, debentures, 98^. At the tallow sales 2175 casks were offered and 775 so!* 3. Mutton (fine) brought 22s 3d, medium 193 6(1; beef, 20s 63. Silver, 2s Gjd per ounce. The British and Australasian Trnst and Loan Company have declared a dividend o£ Is 3d psr share. Tlia American visible supply is 79,300,060 bushels. Medium quality beef tallow is quoted at 18s. '
