Cheese.—Farmers', 3d to 3Jd. No sals. Pigs.—Best weight, 1201b to 1601b, 2Jd-, others anything obtainable. Bacon.—There ib no sale for farmers'cure except at very unprofitable prices. , Potatoes.—Uest Denvents, 405t045j. Poultry.-At our last Friday's ssle the followingprices ruled :—Hens. Is 9d to 2s 3d. Young cocks, 2s6dto2s9d. Ducks, 3s to3s9d. Turkey hens and small cocks, 4d per lb ; large cocks, 6d per lb. Geese, 5s 6d. Market wa3 badly glutted, and several lots passed in. Fruit.—Local apples, 4s Id to 5s 6d. Hobart apples: S.Pm., 6s; P. 0., 7s; S.P., 7s. Pears, 12a. Tahiti oranges, 6s to 7s; Island, 3s 9d to 4s. Business generally continues brisk.. We have never sold so much furniture before, whilst drapery returns are simply wonderful for this time of the year. We have just purchased a large stock, which will be opened out:in alewdajs. Our friends had better look out for it.
