' Fruit.—Moderate supplies csme forward this week, and prices are fairly well sustained. We quote :—Hobart apples : :F.G, 7s to 8s : S.P., 7s to 8s; S.Pm. and A.Pm., Ss to 9s :, S.T.P., 7s to Ba. Pears : Noae offering. Locally-grown aV';ea, 4s 6d to &. Oranges: D.JS. Tahiti, 7s; -Jd; Island, 4s to ss; Italian, 14s; Sydney,4s 6d to & 6d. Lemons: Sydney, 7s 6d Bananas, lid to Peanuts. 3idi Tomatoes: ;Hothonst.-, sd. Cocoanuts, Ss per sack. • ~■ >. . ._ .•-.. '...'■■■ i. Produce.—Eggs have good demand. J?resh butfer.^hort supply;,prime salt, 7d to Sd. Bacon, 5Jd to Cd for prime roll. We can, supply choice quality and get-up in any quantity. Hams, 7Jd. Pips (plentiful), 2id-to2}d. Cheese: Farmers', 3Jd to 4id; Akaroa, 4id; factory, 4sd to sdi. Honey, 3Jd to 4d ; sections, 6s to 7s per dozen. Betswax inquired for. Potatoes: Derwents, good samples are firm at from £2 2s 6d to £2 10s; kidneys (for seed), £2 5s to £3. "Onions, £6.
