The weekly meeting of the committee of th 3 Obago Rugby : Union, held yesterday afternoon, wa3 attended by Messrs Chisholm (president), Gallaway, Duncan, Isaacs, M'Laren, Montgomery, Torrance, and Hutchison. A letter W33 received from Mr J. Marchbanks declining to ac. as delegate for the O.R.F.U. to the New Zealand Union, and it was decided to esk Mr J.Bee, of Wellington, to accept tha position. The rest of the business was of a routine character.

In the senior matches at Christchurch on Saturday Christchurch beat North Canterbury by 15 points to 10, Kaiapoi beat East Christ" church by 37 points to nothing, Linwood were successful over Sydenham by 30 points to 5, and Canterbury College were beaten by Merivale by 15 points to 7 points. _ The Union and University Clubs play a practice match to-morrow on the North ground at 2.30. - ' , .. ~....: In the Association match Rangers v.
