The statement of the Cairo correspondent o£ The Times that a Paris journalist is openly promising the armed support of Francs to Egypt has caused a great sensation in Paris. M. Flourens, the well-known French statesmen, believes it is the desire of England to strike a decisive blow and obtain a free hand in Egypt. February 20.
