I Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Shanghai, February 19. The Japanesa have captured sis gunboats in Weibaiwei Haibonr. The Japanese havo landed at Chefoo the bodies of Admiral Ting and tbres Chinese captains who committed suicide during the attack on Weihaiwei. As tba bodies were conveyed ashore the Japanese flagship fired minute guns, and the whole fleat saluted as a mark of respect to the dead officers. Tokio, February 19. The Japanese will refrain from attacking Chefoo, but are determined to dictate terms c-l peace in Pobin, where tea Chinese Court ■ is preparing to fight. A bill hau boen submitted to the Japanese Diet voting a further war expenditure of L 2,000,000.
