UNIVERSITY OF NEW ZEALAND
A special session of the University Senate wag held on Tuesday, April 24, at 10 a.m., in the council room cf the University of Otago, pursuant to nope gjsen ,{>♦ the chancellor in accordance with a resolution passed at the jinnuai session, in March.' Present:'. The Chancellor (iasthe choir), Dr Shand, Professor J. M. Brown, fir Fitcßsstt, Mr Slilne, Professor Cook, Professor Sale, Rev. Dr Salmoha. The Chancellor declared the business to be as follows:— . 1. Consideration of the detailed reports of the examiners in England for the November examinations, 1893. S. Conferring of degreed, honours, and senior scholarships. 3. Adoption of the annual repdrt of the sßoate to his Excellency the Governor. The Benato resetted itself into cpmmittee ior the consideratib'n of the examiners' repotts, the chancellor in the chair.
