Nell, accountant at tlio Colonial Bank, and formerly agent of the branch at Nenthorn, being under ordera for removal to Auckland, was on the eve of his departure last ulgbt entertained at a supper and »mok3 concert held at Fagan's Empire HoLel. Mr M'flfell, during this shore tirao he Ins rosidiid amongst us, has by his urbanity and strict attention to busings succeeded In gaining a host of frienrts, n« was fully exemplified by the number of gentlemen attending, representative!! of all olasies iv the community being present. Mr Jas. Arklewas in thoohair. The health of the guest, accompanied hy hearty wishes for his future welfare, was drunk In bumpers, and ably responded to. Other toast», tongs, &c, were given during the evening, and altogether a very pleasant few hours were spent. Mr M'Neil left by train this morning for Duuedin en route for Auckland.
