The Czar has announced that if he is made aware of the exercise of brutality against the Jews he will severely punish the offenders.

The Czar is reported to be incensed at tho brutal way in which the edict of expulsion against the Jews has been carried out, and has directed more moderation to be shown. 11 Paris, June 9.

Tho Rothschilds have drawn the attention of the French Government to the horrible situation of the Jews in Bussia.

Sir Henry Parkes is strongly opposed to any influx of Russian Jews to Australia, and has instructed Agent-general Samuel to watch their movements closely.
