Finest whites aie celling at £2$ to £26 10a per ton duty paid, and greya and fine whites at £25 103 to £2-3 pir ton. Teas are purchased to replenish Btooks. Indian teas beln? moat in demand. Dried fruits are without alteration, Currants sell atsdperlb; 6i)ltanara3inßat9£dFerlb; Yalonoias and elemes aro scarce — the former are quitted to arrive at 6jd per lb; the latter are held for 7£d per lb in ordinary lots. Fiebia securing improved attention, and there" ia good business passing in American salmon at 7s 6d per dozen for usual first-ofasß brandi. The new Fatna rice hao re3nhei the market, and i* bong dispos?cl of at £13 to £23 10j per ton; dressed Japan secures £23 10s to £24 per ten. In metal and hardware linfs trade is only middling. Prices of most descriptions of goods are fir n, but leave iittle margin to Importers. Galvanised iron moves off at £22 10s to £^3 per ton, usual extras; and fencing wire at £1310 a to£M per ton, m'ip.l extras,according to quantity. Barbed wire soils at £33 to £24 per imported. I O coke tin pla'es we taken up at 21s to 2U 6rt per box. Sbeet lead wa quote £22 10s per ton, and block tin Is Id to Is 3d per lb. according to quantity. Stocks of cement are not large and efforts are fceir.g made to Improve its position. Holders' quotations are 17s to 18s per barrel, according to quantity. Haw and boil»d linseed oils are in batter inquiry, and values have slightly advanced, 3s 6d ani 3s 7d per gallon being now asked for both together. Colzi oil sells at 4s Od per ga'lon, and osstor oil at 3s 6d to 'M Sd par gallon. Kerosene pontinuea very dull, Is 8d per gallon being nominal valul) of hUh-'est oils. Gornssck* are again drooping, nnd quotations »re merely nominal.
