Messrs Mort and Co. continued their sales of stud -sheep on the 23rd. Tlie attendance of buyers was very large, and competition spirited ; 943 sheep were sold, comprising Tasmaninn and New South Wales selections, aud realising a total of £14,463. Mr Charles Goulter, a New Zealand buyer, purchased the faithfully champion ram Lustre Grand Prince, after a keen competition, for 262 guineas. The

highest price obtained during the day w'ae for a ram which goes to New Zealand for stud purposes. Tho next highest price, 184 guineas, was paid by Messrs Tobin aud Sons for Clark iiiid Co.'s East Talgia'nuVFelix. ,
