The returns of telegraph revenue for the quarter ending June show that 351,304 messages were received, representing a revenue of £22,924 63 9d. The number for the same quarter of 1883 was 347,209, and the value £23,480 133 3.d. The number of Government telegrams for the quarter was 54,795, representing a value of £5284 123 3d.
