THE CITY MEMBERS. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir-—The last number of Hansard is now to hand, consequently the members for the City in the House of Representatives have no excuse for not comicg forward without farther delay and giving an account of their stewardship. Some say they will not address their constituents under present circom* J wtancea, being unwilling to talk too much about their new honours, but, although their modesty is well known, it is hard to believe that it has grown so excessive all at once.,,. Being now honourable in designation as well a» in character, they will no doubt be oDly too ready to exp'ain how they "got all they wanted," and will not allow false fee?ings of delicacy to blind them to their duty. 1 therefore expect shortly to see them calling a meeting of the electors.—! am, &c, Kxi'Kcr.AN'T.
