NORTH OTAGO ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the North Otago 'Lawn Tennis. Sub-Association was held on AVedncsday evening. Present: Messrs Maclean (President) in the chair," Messrs H.. and K. Familtcn, Steel, Langley, and Gow (Hon. Secretary). The balance-slieet for the Christmas tournament was read and passed. The fixtures for the next round of the Association matches were drawn as follows : - 4th February.—Postponed match Hill y. Meadowbaniv; Ist teams at Meadowbank, 2nds at Hill. •11th February. Meadowbauk v. Oamaru; Ist teams at Meadowbank, 2nds at Oamaru. 18th February.—Hill a*. Oamaru; Ist teams at Oamaru, 2nd at Hill. 25tli February. —r Mcadowbank v. Hill; Ist teams at Hill, 2nds at Meadowbank. The Secretary reported that arrangements were practically completed for an inter-assoeiation match with South Canterbury on the 28th February. The team was picked as follows: —Men: Messrs Steel, Sutton, A. Gihb, K. Familton, Maclean, and Ferens; emergencies—Mr W. B. Gihb. Ladies: Misses Miller, M. Miller, Blyth, Edwards, Nicolls, and Kay; emergencies— Misses N. Nicolls and Da vies. It was decided to request the Oamaru Chib to grant the use of two courts on Fi'ida v. Monday, and Wednesday, and the Hill Ciub for the use of two courts on Saturday and Tuesday, for practice by the North Otago team, of which MiMaclean was appointed captain-. Players mentioned are requested to attend for. practice on the courts mentioned on •the evenings before the match. After routine business the meeting closed with the usual compliment to the- chairman.
