LIQUOR PROSECUTIONS.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin. December 22. Francis Porter, an ex-publican at Caversham. who had lost his license by the process of reduction after the 1908 licensing poll, was fined £4O and costs lis for selling liquor without a license. AV. H. Pavno and his wife were charged with' illegally selling liquor at a tearoom at AYoodhaugh. The man was convicted and lined £26 and costs. The charge against his wife was dismissed.
