The Ram and Ewe Fair.

Owing to the large entry of all sorts at the Junction Yards, the auctioneers were very late in starting .the ram sales on the Show Ground to-day. The first offered were some of Mr A. C. Lang's (Windsor), and he was particular to inform the buyers that they were by no means his best sheep. Three 2-tooth Border Leicester rams brought £ a guinea each ; 1 Hampshire Down 4-tooth, brought lj guinea; 1 Shropshire Down, 4-tooth, fetched 1\ guinea, and 3 6-tooth Southdowns were sold for § of a guinea each. Three of Mr Reid's stud 2 tooths were offered before our reporter left, and these fetched 3J, 3, and 2£ guineas respectively. There was a very fair attendance of farmers and local sheep breeders.
