PICNIC AT AWAMOKO.
| * (fbom ode own cobres pondent. ) The annual picnio was held at Awamoko on Friday last, in a paddock kindly lent by Mr A. M'Donald, Georgetown, when there were fully 150 people present. There were about Lll colleoted for prizes for the children, besides special prizes given by a large number of friends. The events were all I keenly contested, more especially the ■ Married Women's Race. The young ladies seemed to en j >y themselves very well, dancing on the green and playing a number of games.
