HORSES FOR DUNEDIN.

A Wellington telegram published this morning says that the s.s. Hawea sailed for the South yesterday with a string of seven of Mr. Redwood's horses. What these can be it is hard to surmise, for Guy Fawkes, Puriri, Maroro, and Bribery, are all working at Cliristehurch, and would therefore not come to Dunedin by way of Wellington. The Star suggests that perhaps the telegram refers to some youngsters on their way to Christchurch to be trained for the Canterbury autumn meeting.
