Comes From Garrard.
Though there was some tall scoring on both sides m the two first innings there was nothing m the way of fireworks and the first six to be recorded came from Garrard after Auckland's continued innings had been m progress about an hour. The University batsman lifted McGirr clean out of the enclosure op the leg side with a graceful, easy stroke. He all but repeated the performance m the next over from the same bowler.
