PRISONERS SENTENCED

HAWKE’S BAY CASES. Per Press Association. NAPIER, November 11. For discharging a firearm with intent, Hori Ngatoro, a Maori youth, is to come up for sentence if called upon, a condition being that he remains on the Weraroa State Farm. Mr Justice Ostler said that the boy committed the crime more in fear than with deliberation. William Cecil Bartle, for attempted rape pn a young girl, was sentenced to reformative detention for a term not exceeding five years. Duncan Keith Cameron (17), on charges of breaking and entering was sentenced to reformative detention for a period not exceeding three yars.
