WALES AND THE MAORIS
POVERTY BAY MISTAKEN (Sydney "Sun” Cable.) LONDON, May 20. The “Westminster Gazette” says, that Welsh Rugby circles point out that the* 1 Poverty Bay Union’s resolution criticising the Welsh Union is oased on a misconception. The Maoris are the guests of the French Rugby Federation, which is not recognised officially by the International Board, on which France vainly sought representation. Wales is merely adhering to its decision that future tours must be under the auspices of the hoard.
